Imagine What’s Possible When We Start with Food

Pantry on The Heights is a community food pantry based at The Church on the Heights in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. It supports working-class families who need help accessing food, with a particular focus on families connected to the Cleveland Heights–University Heights schools. Its mission goes beyond providing groceries: the pantry aims to offer a welcoming place where neighbors find care, dignity, and connection, especially in an area where grocery options are limited.

A ministry of The Church on the Heights, the pantry operates with support from individual donors, volunteers, and local business partners. As a member of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, it sources much of its food through that organization, supplemented by donations from businesses including Panera Bread, Giuseppe’s Pizza and Bakery, and Starbucks. Through regular food distributions and community partnerships, Pantry on the Heights helps meet immediate food needs while encouraging neighbors to care for one another.

One Day. One City. 75,000 Meals.

Each year, Harvest Hope NEO and the Pantry on the Heights bring volunteers, local businesses and community partners together for the Pack Shack “Feed the Funnel” Party. This hands-on event turns a day of teamwork into thousands of packaged meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community.

Volunteers work together to pack meals, while sponsors help fund the food and supplies that make the event possible. It’s a simple, meaningful way for neighbors and businesses to give back, help families put food on the table and strengthen our community.

Grilling for Good in Akron

Harvest Hope NEO is proud to partner with The Homeless Charity and Village, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Akron, Ohio, dedicated to bridging the gap between street living and home living. Together, we work to break down the barriers that separate the houseless and non-houseless populations by fostering a supportive, community-driven environment. As part of this vital collaboration, Harvest Hope NEO coordinates a monthly meal for the charity's residents, beautifully prepared and served by the Grill Guys. This joint effort ensures that individuals receive not only a hot, comforting meal but also the consistent community connection necessary to support them on their journey toward transitional stable housing.
